The Letter

with 11 comments

Now That A-Rod has cleared the air we’re good to  go, that  was easy, everybody in baseball  was extremely satisfied with his recent brilliant move.

When will Rodriguez realize he doesn’t have to  work  so hard getting people to like him, nobody ever will, not until he starts to rake and not screw up when he plays defense, everything else is a waste of time. He’s a fucking  3 time losing Canary….

See the Ball, Hit the Ball, Catch  the Ball, Show up on Page 6 with some Hookers, and STFU

  1. willie randolph was probably under-appreciated in his day. had more walks than strikeouts in all his 18 seasons in majors.

  2. Rodriguez believes that what Anthony Bosch gave him might have been a placebo. “Only me,” Rodriguez said of his relationship with Bosch. “Only a dope like me would do that stuff and have the two worst statistical seasons of my career.” Bosch was sentenced to four years in jail Tuesday after pleading guilty last October to conspiracy to distribute testosterone.

maybe it has something to do with your PED use for so many years previous Al.. placebo’s really?

  3. Billy #1 Martin appreciated # 30!
Remember way back when I bitched that our former reliever had no business wearing # 30 ?
    1st Black Yankee Captaintoo.

  4. Donny D-Rob was a good kid, home grown, I didn’t think him wearing #30 was a dis, Willie was great, but he doesn’t deserve his number retired.. #32 Howard was the first black Yankee.. When i think ok of #1 one it’s Bobby Richardson not Billy Martin, but I get the Martin thing,

Pretty soon we’re gonna have no numbers left.. Only Hall of Fame players deserve their numbers retired.. Plaques is another story, if you want to honor great players in your system that’s fine, despite O’Neill and Tino coming here in trades, they were a part of a nice run

I don’t care really, it’s a business move designed to fill the stands and overcharge for merch, that’s their right in this country… it’s already distracted folks from what they have on the field, so they scored on the 20 46 51 tribute.. maybe it makes enough revenue to buy Moncada

Sounds like the Red Hen is running the front office lol…

As for A-Rod, why do anything? the guy is a mutt, he took guys down, he’s a stool pigeon rat… just hit the ball and try to earn half the money they’re paying you

  7. Good comments, you guys. I was talking to one of my friends yesterday who is a big time Yankee fan. He is a MD and is about our age. His wife is a huge Andy Pettitte fan and expressed a big interest in going to the stadium the day that Andy’s number is retired. so the Doc, who goes to games about 5 times/year, inquired about tickets. He told me that where he goes for tickets ( and I don’t know where that is)–they are asked as much as 4 times over face value as of yesterday. $100 seats for $400, $75 seats for $300. Higher priced tickets are the same.
Hal and the boys in the front office would have been awesome, selling elixir on the back of a wagon at a carnival.

  8. Mel Stottlemyre also was #30. I liked what you said about Arod Sal,especially the hookers!!! The circus is going to be incredible judging by the reaction to the letter and article in ESPN the magazine, can’t wait!!!!
Sux fans are upset Sandoval looks fat-wait until the season starts-lol Billy Martin was also an anti-semite,
he did not like Ken Holtzman.

  9. Very excited to have Alex back. Is he better than Solarte? Nunez? Prado? They had a longer list of mutuants from 2013 before he came back. I think as a DH he will be very good and they need him to produce.

  10. hey boys, good to see everybody, solid takes per usual… Yeah Big D Frisco Fats is now Fenway Fats lol… that tub of lard ain’t in San Francisco anymore…

that’s what I’m talking about Noogsie, they just can’t induct those guys, they gotta rape the public just because they know they can.. like friggin oil prices.. kool story about your bud Doc, I hope they enjoy the day, sounds like the Mrs will..

OK Donny 1st black captain, I forgot that, or didn’t know it maybe, either way it’s all good, dive in head first bud, save me the tail… Mel was #30, forgot that too… let’s hope they don’t retire that one either, or maybe they already did

Ricky, we’re with you 1000%, we all hope Alex turns into Barry Bonds, I just hope he can still do something, they are gonna need some depth at 3rd base.. He is rat bastard though, but he’s our rat bastard, he can still eat at the table… Fresh Provolone for Alex…. Billy Martin was quite the red neck, didn’t know he was that red, doesn’t surprise me…
