Thanks Boys, very nice of you to send condolences, good to see you BK
Sal’s mom was a legend in her own mind, but that’s a discussion for another day,
and me and the Don barely escaped by the hairs on our chinny chin chins.. The don can shoot straight, he just has to remember to load the gun, which of course he finally did.. thanks for the help Donny
I need an escape so I thought this recent Moncada link was interesting, i think it was this weekend we had all the families meet and our final deduction was Moncada money wouldn’t be a $40 or $50M signing bonus, that was media driven hyperbole
now per King the third rumor has it closer to $20M, but you also need to ink his baby sitter Carlos Mesa a 27 yr old out fielder
at first I thought this would be the deal breaker for Boston then realized Moncada will be at single A, so Mesa wouldn’t be on the 40 man

Sal—Having lost my mom (and dad) in the not too distant past, I can understand what your pain is like. Life does go on, although I think a piece of you is lost when your parents pass.
There is a great piece on Arod in the new edition of ESPN, the magazine. I heard about it yesterday on Bob Ley’s ESPN Show, Inside the Lines. The article is quite long, but it goes into great depth about Arod and I think it does reveal what makes this unique individual tick. It is easy to find online.
Take a peek ( and you other guys here too) if it interests you. It did me, fan of Arod or not.

Glad that you are back Sal. Looks like Moncada signed with the sux,it really should not be a surprise,it has been reported everywhere,in all types of media that the Yanks were not spending any money. So they will take another shot to the chin in the media, another black eye in the sux rivalry and then just move on the nonsense of spring training. Your favorite lefty,CC now weighs 305-at least-the extra weight will certainly help in his comeback………or not!!!-lol GeniusJoe had a long press conference last week, its on
the YES website and everyone is getting ready for the Aroid circus to come to town!!!!!!

thanks Big D, I have the wake and funeral the next few days then we’ll get back to business.. Yes I agree Moncada is not a shock, they made him an offer they knew he would turn down, like Boston did with Lester
My guess on CC if he can’t go he might have to retire, so they have him on a jelly donut diet… all that weight on that bad knee wow, he looks like he’s back on the coco puffs…
