It’s amazing too me how a majority percentage of fans and media in Yankeeland felt the team CashMan  was bringing back to  the Bronx in 2016 was the last bumbling squad we saw in 2015, except CashMan  and his owner..

The team I remember played poorly  from August until  that fateful day in October when they  were sent packing without even a hint of fight in them vs the Astros, that’s the taste we had left  in our mouths …

A tired old injury prone, past their prime, collection of borderline Hall of Famers, mixed in with other team’s failed top prospects, and some misguided 2014 free agent acquisitions  ..

The propaganda Al Yankzeera was trying to  sell us like 2nd in runs scored, included compiled stats from the  start of that  campaign, when the Bombers entered the All Star break in first pace 48- 40 with 409 runs scored, 383 Runs allowed and a .545 winning percentage.. They  were playing  .708 baseball in July with a 17-7 record

Then the check engine light went on, soon after, the reserve gas tank warning signal started to  blink, and before you know it, Girardi, Larry  the Stable Guy, Tony Pena, and CashMan  were pushing the Muscle Car turned Lemon off the Interstate in search of the first repair station

They never did find the right mechanic to  fix the old wreck, and August  was a 14-14 affair..September the exact 14-14 record, and October saw them barley make the playoffs with a 1-3 record, 13 runs scored, 23 runs allowed, a .250 winning percentage as the young Red Sox and pissed off Buck O’s took 6 of the last 7  games from them

The propaganda CashMan  and Steinbrenner tried to  sell us this Winter and Spring  is scarier then the 8-16 record we have now…

Of course CashMan has been around for 18 years, as his WFAN butt boy Mike Francesa was more then happy to repeat at least 21 times yesterday,  as one caller after another tried to defend what  their eyes were telling them, not what CashMan, Girardi and Francesa were pawning off as reality

Of course Steinbrenner is no where to be found, and won’t return any beat  writer calls, after all, the weather has been pretty funky, good chance Hal has his hands full  with figuring out what  the barometric pressure and wind velocity is on his 1 percenter plantation

Francesa who has jumped on the Chalk Wagon, which of course is the Yanks are dead, still won’t let his breakfast buddy CashMan  go  down with the ship, like ARod in 2014, he’s defending the long tenured GM to the very end

Here’s the  real deal Honest Mike, what  CashMan did  in the past, with mostly Gene Michael, Bob Watson, and Buck Showalter drafted players, and a half billion dollars of George Steinbrenner’s money in 2009, has very little to  do  with  what he’s tried to  build from 2013 to today, May 4th 2016…

Yankee fans aren’t spoiled Honest Mike, they’re pissed off at how Junior Stein, and CashMan have tried to put lipstick on a pig in an effort to  get you to buy an overpriced ticket to  their Casino on Rivera Avenue in the Bronx, so  they  can lift the rest of your weekly paycheck once you get inside the Mall

Hey don’t forget, no common man or woman should try to  sit in those cushy Moat Seats, can’t have the unwashed masses acting like the Bleacher Creatures rubbing elbows with the Blue Blood one percenters Trost, Levine, and Steinbrenner want as their patsy money pit contributors…….

Those Moat Seats are a gated community, no riff raff allowed, they might start  to  act unruly and God forbid start  to  scare the opposition who every night kicks the living shit out of Hal’s Pals who have hijacked the once Great Pinstripes

Here’s the deal  boys, all  we want to  see is you start  to  rebuild this pile of rubble you’re trying to  sell  as the Taj Mahal.. Keep  the kid Severino  on the varsity, and stop  with the Ace chatter.. Let him get his nose bloodied, let him figure out how to  get that .333 BAA and that .417 BABIP down to  a respectable number

Try to  teach him to subtract the velocity, create deception, and fine tune his breaking pitches.. This kid spent all  winter bulking up like he was gonna be drafted as a linebacker for the Giants

Instead of progressing as a pitcher, he looks like he should be doing commercials for Planet Fitness, I pick tings up  and put zem down

Last night he had the agility of a Refrigerator Perry as he tried to cover first base on ground balls to Teixeira

Most of the time he’s trying to  throw velocity past MLB hitters who make Multi Millions of dollars destroying those types of pitches.. I don’t think it’s his fault, he needs to  be taught how to pitch, and hopefully it’ll get done on the varsity level

When Francesa tried to tell one caller that CashMan never had the luxury of picking high in the draft, hence Cash is  being devoid of a prodigious farm system, the caller quickly pointed out that Mookie Betts was drafted by The Boston Red Sox, and they selected Betts in the fifth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft with the 172nd overall pick.

Francesa quickly hit the off button on the dude’s call, and spit out some Francesian Bull Shit, until he found an ill-informed sucker he could bully, which is the Honest Mike Reality Radio Show’s M.O…

Anyway, the Yanks were KO’d again last night, 4-1… Severino is far from a finished product, in fact, he’s barely off the assembly line, the 11 games in 2015 that he dominated are a distant memory… The league caught up  to his game, and now it’s his turn to flip  the script

Let him keep  working on it, the Yanks aren’t contending, what’s the difference, what’s he gonna learn  throwing 97 past AAA players?

That  said, last night the offense was still  the culprit, 2 for 20  with  runners on base, they  scored one cheap  run, and they  still suck in high leverage situations

Yankees RISP: 1-7 (Headley 0-1, Rodriguez 0-1, Gregorius 1-1, Beltrán 0-1, Castro 0-2, Teixeira 0-1)
Team LOB: 8

Maybe they’ll  snap out of it, good, that means more viable trade chips in 2 months

The offense lost it’s most productive hitter ARod, to  a “Tricky Hamstring pull”.. That’s the point we were trying to make when we thought to platoon Grand Pa Beltran with Great Grand Pa ARod, and put this kid Hicks in Right field

ARod isn’t an  everyday player, not even at DH, Ortiz doesn’t have 2 repaired hips, so he’s in another category, and Beltran is a butcher on defense

Yeah Hicks hitting .077, but CashMan  traded a very good young catcher for him, so let’s see if he can play… That .077 isn’t gonna get any better sitting on the bench, and again, the Yanks aren’t a contender, let’s see who  can play  and who  can’t

At least the fucking kid is young, has athleticism, and won’t extend innings by taking bad routs, or letting pop ups drop in front of him, and if he does, then send him packing, he’s making minimum wage

What  we want to  see now is Beltran prove he’ can  still be a potent DH / great post season  asset, so  at the deadline, or sooner, CashMan  can flip him for a prospect.. Same with Teixeira, let him work out of his customary early season funk.. Maybe by June / July he’s raking and you can flip him to  a contender for another prospect

Chapman  will be here soon, he’s the best closer in baseball, you think some contender like the Cubs or better yet, a contender with overstocked pitching prospects like the Dodgers or the Nats can use Chapman ?

You wanna scare the shit out of Alderson and the Mets, trade Chapman  to  the Nats, let’s see how giddy the Met Mutts  on  WFAN are then…

The Yanks have two more games  with Buck before they’re 10 games under .500, then even CashMan Butt Boy Honest Mike Francesa will completely roll off the front office, GM bandwagon

Buck will  do  everything in his power to make this a sweep, he already put the tarp on the field after his team took BP, and it wasn’t even  raining lol

“Unfortunately, I’ve been on teams that are down, and you want to take care of business,” Tillman said. “You want to rack up the wins when you can. If a team is scuffling, you want to be at your best to capitalize on those opportunities.”

  1. Some ESPN nerd put this together, thought we should take a look see

    BA with RISP
    Notable Yankees
    Carlos Beltran .050
    Chase Headley .095
    Brian McCann .188
    Jacoby Ellsbury .200
    Brett Gardner .200

They’re batting a major-league worst .196 in the seventh through ninth innings, .201 with runners in scoring position (29th in the majors) and .223 when trailing (22nd in the majors).

Specifically, Chase Headley can’t catch up with fastballs this season, hitting just .129 against heaters. It’s the worst batting average in baseball among qualified hitters. Headley is the only regular starter in baseball who has yet to record an extra-base hit.

Carlos Beltran has an AL-low .050 average with runners in scoring position, the second worst in baseball (Derek Norris — .048)

Didi Gregorius (.115) and Rodriguez (.118) have the fourth- and fifth-lowest average in baseball in the seventh inning or later.

The Yankees’ nine games with a lead at any point after the sixth inning are the fewest in baseball. The starting rotation has fared poorly, with an AL-worst 5.13 ERA, and a .282 batting average that ranks 14th in the league.

Specifically, Michael Pineda has had all kinds of problems with his fastball. Opponents have a .455 batting average against the pitch. That’s the highest in baseball among pitchers who’ve ended at least 50 plate appearances with the pitch.

After the first time through the order, Luis Severino and Nathan Eovaldi are the two worst pitchers in the majors. Opponents are hitting .368 against Severino and .356 against Eovaldi after the first time through.

CC Sabathia has struggled with his off-speed stuff, allowing a .381 average against his off-speed offerings. That’s the second-highest rate in baseball among pitchers with at least four starts.

The shame of it is that the bullpen has been fantastic. They have a 1.35 ERA and average an MLB-best 15.3 strikeouts per nine innings when pitching with a lead after six innings.

If the Yankees are going to turn their season around, they’re going to have to get some wins against some tough teams. Each team has the ability to take advantage of an area the Yankees are struggling in.

The Orioles entered this series leading the AL in slugging percentage against starting pitchers (.499) and their pitchers ranked among the best in the league in opponents’ batting average with runners in scoring position (.211).

The Red Sox, whom they’ll face next, lead the American League in batting average (.280), OPS (.785) and runs per game (5.42).

Then come the Royals and White Sox. The Royals have allowed the second-lowest hard-hit rate in the AL (12 percent). The White Sox lead the AL in ERA (2.59) and opponent OPS (.541) when holding a lead.

  2. Last night had you wondering if things could get any worse. Major League pitchers are supposed to be able to cover first base and third baseman making 13 million a year are supposed to have one base hit by May 3.
I read that the Orioles took batting practice and then had the tarp put on the field before the Yankees could hit. It wasn’t raining.
Joey got pissed. Buck steals Joey’s lunch, the lunch box and the thermos every time.

    May 4, 2016 at 9:34 am

    • Noogsie it’s gonna get worse before it gets better
I watched the white sox last night those guys are flying high having fun with hood pitching

They’re gonna throw some nasty LHP at the Yanks. As you pointed out Buck takes joeys lunch every time
Boston has Chili Davis teaching his kids to hit line to line

We need this thing to crash and burn so they can rebuild it
We’re seeing how fragile older players are
some teams have a few old guys our whole offense us built around it
Even going on a run can’t sustain for long
It’s gonna take so much to get even what’s gonna be left in the tank

I think the Yankee instructors are not very good, think about it they never had to teach
yanks always traded kids for stars

We need to get back to the Mid 90’s program of developing a core

I’d like to see more kids even if they’re green like Severino

      May 4, 2016 at 10:52 am

2 Chins crunched the numbers on Severino …. pros and cons of what to do

I think you keep running him out there, growing pains are never fun, but who wants to see the alternative?

    May 4, 2016 at 12:39 pm

  4. whoa, Mikey 21 going after a former goalie Mikey must have a few bouncers that travel around with him lol

    May 4, 2016 at 12:45 pm

  5. only caught the tail end of the met mutt’s news on Severino, not sure if the Yanks sent him down or not, I’m not listening to MLBTV….

    May 4, 2016 at 12:49 pm

  6. The met mutt was just repeating a Heyman Tweet, Yanks discussing what to do with Severino

    May 4, 2016 at 1:30 pm

  7. mikey watched the whole Cruz Trump thing, so how does he know what Harvey or Severino looked like? just wondering how you do that

    May 4, 2016 at 1:33 pm

  8. Mets are lucky to be in a AAA division, based on the intel about their pitchers… Maybe going deep into October had an affect on them

    May 4, 2016 at 1:41 pm

Mikey footlong was a hoax…..That’s good I could never listen to Glazer again if that was true….Doesn’t mikey have him on his show?

    May 4, 2016 at 1:54 pm

  10. I wondered why the tarp was on the field and it wasn’t raining! How is that legal? Its past time for the Yanks to start doing shit like that when they get home, especially to Buck. You just know how he is loving beating the Yanks, especially at Baltimore where the Yanks used to wax them unmercifully. Looking at those numbers from espn, its unbelievable that they have won any games. This team just defies the law of averages, there are pitchers in the national league that have better numbers-lol Severino must have missed pitchers fielding practice in spring training. You should listen to the tapes of the Francesa/Dipietro feud, its also on espn ny radio-it got bad when Francesa was called Fatso-lol

    May 4, 2016 at 3:20 pm

    • lol thanks Big D I’ll dig up the Dipietro thing, that’s funny shit

      May 4, 2016 at 4:25 pm

  11. Arod placed on the dl,Yanks bring up lefty pitcher Pazos

    May 4, 2016 at 3:32 pm

    • Thanks Big D

      May 4, 2016 at 4:16 pm

  12. That asshat LaGrecca just went on a foamatthemouth attack on fans that call and say how vomitateous the Yankees are.
Really a foul scumbag,, we have no right to complain at all cause knicks Nets Rangers Devils fans have it worse, longer.
We are all spoiled bratty crybabies.
    What a douce

    May 4, 2016 at 4:09 pm

    • He’s a Met fan Donny, and he likes to stir it up..We have to ride out what’s here for the moment, let’s see if they come out of it… It’s no fun when the whole mob starts to take out the tar and feathers, we like doing it when the first puff of smoke hits the air…lol

I’m getting a kick out of the YES guys, Poor Bryl Cream Curry might start to get as uptight as Joey.. I thought Joey was gonna smack Brickhouse last night…..

      May 4, 2016 at 4:22 pm

  13. They didn’t bring anybody to replace ARod, another reliever, Pazos, so they’re gonna let these guys hit out of it

    May 4, 2016 at 4:16 pm

  14. Also, I seem to owe an apology to Coach Kevin Long.
I reamed him good last few years but these Mutt bats are booming, so I guess he wasn’t to blame for our sinking ABs,,
Damn today they shut mah mouf but good.

    May 4, 2016 at 4:32 pm

    • very classy move Donny.. but he should send you a 15% commission, for reaming and reaping him lol

      May 4, 2016 at 4:34 pm

  15. Sal

    May 4, 2016 at 4:33 pm

  16. Does No one in the booth ask why the runner was sent with less than two outs?
    Or is it just me?

    May 4, 2016 at 7:14 pm

  17. “Healey with a ground ball to the right side”

    May 4, 2016 at 7:45 pm

  18. Headley, that should read,,

    May 4, 2016 at 7:50 pm

  19. “and the inning ends with a 643 double play”

    May 4, 2016 at 8:09 pm

    • Wow who were those guys lol

      Great job by Sabathia
All they needed was to get rid of Arod

Girardi put Betances in a tough spot glad he came through

Now Ellsbury can take of the week off

      Great win

      May 4, 2016 at 10:49 pm

  20. Better bring up Gamel to sub for Gardner
