A Psychosomatic Disorder

with 5 comments

From what  we read Tanaka had 8 good batters in him, then deGrom got a knock, and #1 on the Met fan Public Enemy  list, Al De Aza went Big Fly off him

Much has been made of Tanaka’s effectiveness on five days’ rest instead of four, but he was throwing with an extra day and still not very good. With five days’ rest, Tanaka was 4-0 with a 1.05 ERA in seven starts entering Tuesday evening. On four days’ rest, he was 1-3 with a 4.95 ERA in 10 starts. Outside of Yankee Stadium, Tanaka was 4-2 with a 1.94 ERA in 10 outings and at home was 3-1 with a 4.30 ERA.

Opposite Jacob deGrom, Tanaka had to be a lot better than he was to give the Yankees a chance.

Nice job TJ #SearvingSushiMeatballs….

As for Psycho Joe, maybe his ears are ringing about where he’s gonna end up this winter.. Last yr when Monsignor John Farrell  went down with cancer and Boston inserted  Salvatore  (Torey) Lovello to manage their kids, the Red Sox were one of the best  teams in baseball

Lovello  was praised for managing with a “steady hand”, and the troops all settled in nicely

With all  that’s going on, who the fuck needs an ass-hole marine drill  sergeant up  your ass every game?

Psychosomatic Joe

With me on the donut trail, Game re-cap again by Big D!

Today was the anniversary of Thurman’s death-RIP.

Hal was on with MKay, very excited about the youngsters, not giving up on the season, and claims they have not discussed Arod.

Cashman was on with Francesa for 38 minutes!!-very excited about the youngsters, not giving up on the season, has not discussed Arod. So now we know the party line.

After the excitement of Monday and the big win, reality set in and the winning streak stopped at 1. DeGrom was very tough, much better than Tanaka. Tanaka had retired the first 8, deGrom got the first hit (he had 2 hits!!), then DeAza, who the Met fans hate and want to hang from the Shea bridge, homered, ball game over.

Yanks were going to pinch hit Arod for Tanaka in top of 7th but Headley hit into a dp and they sent Tanaka out for the bottom of the 7th, big mistake. I guess he lost his focus thinking he was done, but he gave up missiles, shit the bed, then the gidrool relievers made it worse, it was 7-0 after the inning.

Some drama when Psycho-Joe came to take Tanaka out, it was going to be a double switch and Tanaka was not on the mound, was wandering near the foul line.  PJ was obviously pissed off Tanaka wasn’t on the mound and snatched the ball from him. It was made a moment on the post game, but  everyone said there was no problem.

Didi homered in the 9th for the Yankee run, and of course  Arod made the last out of the game with a shallow fly to right, possibly his last at bat as a Yankee!!!!!!

The post game was more exciting than the game. First they showed all 4 at bats of Frazier(he was 0-4,3 ks, looked pathetic),

all 3 at bats of Judge (1-3, double), then a graphic of Frazier, Judge, Sanchez (0-3,walk), and Austin(0-4).

Bourbon Bob said that Sanchez was told he was promoted to NY.

The Barn Door wass open Ass-Wipe

The PJ presser was the usual BS about missed pitches being home runs, then Brickhouse asked him about Sanchez coming up and the fun began.

He looked like he swallowed a shit sandwich, started stuttering about can’t talk about that, any move would be made the next day.

Hey asshole, everyone knows he is coming up, Cashman told us on Monday!!!!!  He looked like a jerk. They dimmed the lights in the room, probably trying to end things quickly which they did.

Psycho Joe also said there had been no discussion about Arod (where have we heard that before???)  and that he planned to have Arod on the team.

That was enough excitement for me and I went to walk my dog. Things should be crazy on Wednesday, just imagine the shit storm if they release Arod.

thanks for the run down Big D…

In our new segment The Man on the Street, which is our version of those poly anna Tweets Bourbon Bob is forced to  read off every night on Al Yankzeera’s YES Propaganda Network

Our man on the street met up  with  another disgruntled Bomber fan

Tanaka shoulda come out way earlier, he had nuthin.
They give Clippy huge props for handling his pitching staff / bullpen,,
Are you effin kidding me ??
He sucks as badly as we do tonight!!!    #grrrr

  1. I’ll drop the post but apparently they lined Green up to start, they must like Severino out of the pen for the moment, I do to, he’s got plenty of time to get the starters role under control…Let him work on that put away slider or a change up or something that helps set up his fast ball or vice versus.. If he bombs for the 2nd time, they might go rouge and Joba his ass by keeping him in the pen as a reliever weapon with Betances

So much for the 5 days rest theory, unless Tanaka’s performance was an outlier…

  2. Psycho Joe never misses an opportunity to double switch, as it shows everyone how smart he is. Tanaka knew exactly what he was doing when he walked off the mound. Preventing Psycho from his horseshit clapping when he asks for the ball was pure genius. Just maybe there will be a groundswell of dissention and the media will pick up that not all is well with this hard headed manager. Many times I have seen Sabathia mumble as he exits and there will be a day when Posada spills the beans on all of it.
Hal said on the Kay show that he doesn’t see anyone running away with the AL East and therefore the Yankees are still in it. Bullshit. If it were a horse race, there are three horses who may battle it out to the end, while the other two mules ( New York and Tampa) fall farther and farther behind
As the season goes through the last nine weeks, all the empty premium seats will require added explanation from the Yankee used car salesmen, specifically that the seats are really paid for and occupied, except more and more of the fans have decided to partake of all that wonderful gourmet food in the designated special eating area rather than watch the game from their seats. Yea, right.
