Indians Raid Wrigley

with 8 comments

As we wake up on Halloween Eve morning, it appears the Chicago Cubs have been spooked by Tito Francona, Corey Kluber, Andrew Miller, and Cody Allen..

Did the ominous forecast by John Smoltz, that Chicago needs to score off  a Cleveland starter because they’re not touching their bull pen confiscate all of the  available space  between their ears?

Are the Cubs playing a 15 out game in a desperate effort to  avoid those guys and not playing  to  win…?.

If so, the consequence smothering Joe Maddon and Team MLB,   they appear  tighter then  a parade drum from  top  to  bottom..

After a 7-2 beat  down in Game 4, giving Cleveland a 3-1 lead in the Series, the Cubs media / fanbase is disappointed, and of course  there is mystery brewing as to why they aren’t seeing the team that  won 111 games this season…?

Is the Moment To Big?

Well  so far the Indians have won 3 games, they’ve pitched Kluber in 2 of them and Tomlin in the other…

Kluber in 2 games: 12 innings, 9 hits, 1 run, 15 K’s, 21 fly ball outs, 8 ground ball outs, 81 pitches in game 1, 88 pitches in game 2….

Last night Kluber pitched backwards throwing a higher percentage of breaking pitches then fastballs..

Miller in 3 games: 5.1 innings, 3 hits, 1 run, 2 BB’s, 8 K’s.. The one run a HR last night in a 7-1 game…

Cody Allen: in 2 games:  2.1 innings, 2 hits, no  runs, 6 K’s

The Cubs hitting with RISP 6 for 35 / 1.71 over all

At the moment the Cleveland Indians behind the Baseball Whisperer Tito Francona have invaded Wrigley Field and done everything but burn the place to  the ground in the first  2 games..

The Indians can end it all  tonight with a win.. That  said, with Trevor Bauer on the bump it’s very easy to  see the momentum switch  to  the Cubs dugout and Chicago living to  fight another day.. The Series would return to Cleveland on Tuesday where it’s very possible the Indians can bury the hatchet on their 1948 / 68 yer  drought
